Machine Washing
- Remove any other detergents or washing products from the washing machine dispenser.
- Place no more than two clean garments in the washing machine drum.
- Add 2 full capfuls of TX Direct (100 ml) per garment.
- Select the synthetics cycle, set the temperature to 40°C, and use a low spin speed. Do not machine wash garments with damaged taped seams.*
Hand Washing (wear gloves)
- Immerse 1 clean garment in a container with 6 litres of warm water.
- Add 1 full capful (50 ml) of TX Direct.
- Stir and leave to soak for 5–10 minutes, then stir thoroughly again.
- Rinse with cold water until the water runs clear.
* Taped seams on old or heavily worn garments can sometimes become detached. They can be reattached using a suitable seam-sealing adhesive after waterproofing and drying.
Drying
Air-dry naturally or tumble dry on a low-spin setting, following the care instructions on the garment’s label. To maintain the garment’s water-repellency, use only Nikwax Tech Wash for washing. Do not use any other cleaning products or detergents.
